8/10/2007 - Addictive Website

I found the website Wayfaring where you can create maps and annotate them -- basically a Google Maps mashup. I played around with it, creating a map of points of interest from my childhood in Westland, MI. It quickly became very addicting and I had to force myself to stop. Luckily, I could justify the time spent (I created my first map at work) as "research" time. I think this is a great way to share your experiences with others.

Here is my first map, a work in progress, Doug's Childhood. Click on the map to be taken to the Wayfaring website where you can see descriptions I added for all the waypoints on the map.
