10/28/2005 - Welcome Fernanda!

My second daughter, Fernanda Anaïs Seifert Quintana arrived at 3:33 PM today. She is as beautiful as her big sister Paolina and I couldn't be more pleased. Nothing pithy to say about the birth of a child, but it is still great, although not nearly as intense, the second time around. The birth was a planned induction and it was like going to the airport and waiting for your flight to board -- after the epidural was administered. Men: when your wife says it is time for the epidural, don't question her. Just agree and get the anesthesiologist in ASAP.

This novel idea for generating electricity is one cool idea.

I wonder what effects on the environment such an "atmospheric vortex engine" would have. In my mind, I keep seeing a tornado along the 110 as I drive home from work instead of all the ugly oil refineries.
